Cheers John! thanks for this pics, are very interesting. If you don't have a mesh already installed, FSX's seems more accurate than Fs9's.
On the other hand, the airport structure is still inaccurate, nothing not seen before. But what dislikes me the most, is the landclass...that yellowish brown is not typical from here; the general impression looks like an arid zone (like Texas or Arizona) rather than a green alpine mountain. But then, hopefully someone is already working on new alternative textures for the world.
At least we have some bridges here and there.
Thanks a lot! very instructive.

My two biggest complaints about FSX is the desert look that is displayed no mater where (arid looking mountains in Alaska) and the landclass. I also wish there was a way to blend the airport textures with the surrounding textures. The default FSX mesh is a big improvement over the default FS9 mesh. My FSX install has not addons.

On the other hand, the airport structure is still inaccurate, nothing not seen before. That's true for most airports, even the international's. If you want to see good airport polygon blending, go to a dirt runway in a desert in FS-X. It seems they excelled in desert textures and blending.. ;D

Great pics.,and yet to appear not unlike the terrain in El Paso Texas.I tried to compare it with my FS9,the airport it self on FSX is nice,I think. But the mountains look like agent orange was used on them.I tried winter there, not much snow ? Not even a lonesome pine did I see. However it can only get better...Ya think? VIN
