Interesting, Bruce! Kisumu and Lake Victoria - all familiar places. In fact, the 150 is there right now - 80 years later. Amazing! I'm not sure whether it's me or the maps - but the locations do not look the same as I'm used to seeing in FS9 or their laid out in a different perspective/format. Seems east west verses north south - Kisumu doesn't look like where it should be - probably me looking at them sideways. Are the maps FSX or another source - they look nice. Enjoying the adventure! ;D Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

All maps are displayed on a fixed north-south orientation. Regards, Bruce.

Interesting and very nice! I just checked those Google maps out - didn't even know you could do all that (I know, where have you been Dan?!) and the satellite version is excellent - in fact, it is so accurate, that right there on the south end of the Kisumu airport flight line sits - none other then the 150 - getting an oil change as we speak. Absolutely incredible! Even though my Kisumu map doesn't look at all like the Kisumu map you are flying in the Cobham's Journey - not sure why - probably a different orientation. In any case, I will be using these map features on the rest of my way down to Capetown. Thanks for the info! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Thanks for the HU on the next leg, I just had an enjoyable read through it. Though I am not currently doing the flight myself, I am enjoying following it along on your blog.
