Hello All, 1. 9 a.m. wake up call off to Woodward Field, Le Roy, New York. Run the checklist and prepare for a 10:45 a.m. flight time. The fireworks were great last night. 2. Taxi for fuel and take off. 3. Past the viewing area and hangar, its off to Binghamton, New York the city of carousels. 4. The terrain is changing from flat and rolling hills to mountains and lakes. 5. On approach to "Sweet Haven", Binghamton New York, there are two grass runways, day only services and outlined by smoking barrels. 6. Over the airfield, you can see the city name on the hangar and the field name painted on the grass. 7. Two the south and over the city, the five red structures are carousels. 8. Touch down. 9. Look for the aircraft parked in the long hangar. 10. This is our place to park. 11. Hopped in the jeep and headed to town; wanted to see those carousels. I'll start testing day three, tonight and posts photos from it. MoCat

Hey MoCat, Beautiful trip through space and time! Guess I will follow your path soon and have a little Stinson or Travel Air-flying, too ;D Meanwhile I made it from Venice, Italy, to the Isle of Man in a Stampe. Saw Luxemburg and the Eifel today, just the weather you will surely remember ... Did not use map or GPS on this flight, only streetmaps and geographical charts. That was a three-day-adventure, too. Here is my souvenir, a screenie taken on descent into the Allgäu late that day. It had taken me quite some time at Windrunners place: Not only a **** CTD but the most "impossible" approach into Bolzano (Bozen) for refueling due to headwinds much stronger than expected. Happy landings everyone!

Slide,
B E A U T I F U L L !
Yes, I do remember the weather. It could snow, rain, ice over, thaw and sun shine all in one day. I miss the Eifel Region, but as you will see, the area I live in, West Virginia, is very similar to the Eifel. Even the attitude of the people is similar. Keep flying, I'll be posting day three this afternoon, and if all goes well, you'll have the sceneries sometime late this coming weekend.
I only have 17 airports to go.

MoCat,
Only 17 airports to go! Your dedication knows no bounds! I have no idea how you are putting this together so fast. This scenery that you're creating is truly a work of art and deserves to be put in a Hall of Fame. I stand in awe of your talent and hope that you realize how much we "golden age" fliers appreciate your efforts.

Thanks guys,
I had to take a little break from "The National Air Tour". I am doing a quick Fort Ticonderoga, thread by same name for Beana51. I started it yesterday, and will finish this evening the back to NAT. Still planning on a sunday release to Tom for testing.
Thanks again!
