As another day dawns on the morning of day 13 of the tour, I drag my lazy and aching body out of bed to begin another adventure in flying.
I gulp down a quick breakfast of Houston's best bacon and eggs and take off for Corpus Christi Municipal.
Now, I like the looks of this airfield. It kind of reminds me of a baseball diamond, and do my eyes deceive me? Am I looking at prepared runways?
Going once around the field to get familiar with the layout of the land.
Hey, I could get use to this kind of runway!!
Lots of development going on at this field.
Looking at my home away from home. Gotta get that sputtering engine looked at.
A terminal just the way I like it. Not too big, not too crowded and nice and quite.
