Does anyone have it and/or know anything about it? Looks like a very nice Beech Bonanza V35. Any information would be great to know before I decide to buy it. Fit and finish, flight dynamics, VC, frame rates, and especially the sound, etc. I do not have any of Corenado's planes as yet, so I'm curious as to their overall quality.
I bought one for my Dad over a year ago and he seems to like it, but he likes anything that has wings -

It's good, but not as good as their later stuff (their new Cessnas have smoother gauges).
But for the price, and cool liveries available, I'd hit that.

I bought it, flew it, and love it. ;D Great airplane - what a classic, even though not of the 30's, it is a classic classic of the 50's & 60's in every sense of the word.
Also downloaded several repaints from Avsim/FlightSim including a couple of beautiful polished aluminum burgandy & red versions that are absolutely stunning!! The flight dynamics are perfect, the panels are very nice even though from an earlier development period, the fps's are well within range, and the sound is right on in every phase of flight.
As Jordan said, for the price it is well worth it, if not for just watching it fly with that classic V tail.
Thanks Jordan for the advice - I'm very happy with it and may consider some of Corenado's other planes in the future as they seem to know what makes airplanes fly!!

Hey Dan, I missed this or I would have urged getting it too. It was originally for FS2002 but the upgrade took care of all the minor issues.
Oh yeah, to repeat, it doesn't have to be from the 30's to be on topic at The Old Hangar. Call it classic, call it vintage, call general aviation... it all good.

Thanks Tom. I figured you were out cooking something up in the kitchen (that is the wrong topic for this forum-LOL) Anyway, I really do like it - flew it for 4-5 hours last night and the night before. Acts just like a real airplane of that size and era should act. Really nice plane - especially with those polished aluminum paints.
I may consider their Dakota or Archer II in the future - not sure what the difference is between the two, but I do like the wheel pants on them.

For myself, I have their Cessna Centurion and 182RG. I also have their Piper Archer.
I'm holding off on the Dakota...Dreamfleet is putting on out (I love their Bonanza A36!)

The VC is not up to Carenado's current standards. Translated, that means it is only better than 80% of the VCs out there. As mentioned before, it was built for FS2002 and upgraded to FS9 so it is not 100% state of the art. I find it comfortable to fly in the VC. Your mileage may vary.

For what it's worth..... I have all Carenado's aircraft EXCEPT the Dakota...... I've been very pleased with them all. The Mentor is probably one of my favorites.... the VC is wonderful.... almost RealAir Simulation quality.... at least I think. I fly all of them on a regular basis... but as I think Tom or someone said.... their later stuff is the best.

I almost bought the Dakota the other night - but still enjoying the V35 to much to spend time in another one. I've looked at other payware brands with similiar aircraft and for some reason Carenado's 'just look better' - more lifelike. And after having flown the V35 for the past week - they seem to fly and act very realistic - more so then many other planes I have bought. Can't remember another plane I've spent so much enjoyable time in other then Bill's Stinson - still love that plane . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Carenado's rendition of the V35 is very well done.
As others have noted it is not up to their current standards but it is still a pleasure to fly.
On a side note, 15 or so years ago I was a fractional owner of one & the Carenado model flies as & handles as I remember it.

I've been flying this model for some time now and she is a great plane. Like mentioned before, visually it is not up to current standards and a few switches are missing from the VC. That said, I think this is probably the best V35 for FS9 out there. Would love to see Carenado redo this plane in their current standard, though.
