Just a few shots of an FS9 practice session for a real world flight in the B200 from Hammond, LA to to Hot Springs, AK. this week. Enjoy.

Yes. It is very realistic. I was on the beta team and provided a good deal of data from my real-world B200 flights.

Nice shots of a nice looking plane. Any chance of a VC shot?
It must be a lot of fun to go flying in the real thing too. I'd love to see some shots of the real one you fly sometime.

Thanks, I know I had a bunch posted about a year and a half ago when the B200 was in beta. I did a flight around the world and posted many many shots... just can't find links to any of my forum posts from back that though. Here is a short video that is (inside shots) taken entirely from the VC. It's a great plane and performs about as close to the real thisg as FS9 will allow. VIEW VIDEO HERE - (3.5MB) Also I will dig up some pics of the real-world B200 I fly and post them here as well. I also had them posted someplace awhile back on some other forums but maybe after a year or more the posts got cleaned out or something. PS. in the video the gear warning sound came on just before touchdown and the gear lock seemed to fail for some reason so I had to do a go around and keep playing with the gear till it finally extended, locked and stayed locked. Later I asked Henning from Aeroworx (B200's developer) if that was a fluke or a built in failure and it was a failure caused by the damage module in the aircraft. Nice to have such a realistic plane to practice with.

As Keith has noted, this Aeroworx King Air is a very 'realistic' airplane - both in its appearance, which is excellent in 'all' views - especially the VC, and the operation of it. So, much so that I literally had to teach myself to fly it - check lists, procedures, and specific King Air characteristics. It's not a hop-in - hit the trottle type of simulation. But, it is an absolute joy to fly, look at, and listen to - all very real, right down to making yourself a cup of 'real' coffee by simply flipping a switch in the cockpit - you can hear it brew in the background - not sure if it's Columbian or Dark Roast - but a pleasure on long flights.
I've had it for about a year now and fly it all the time - a little heavy on the FPS because of its sophistication - but the reality of this great plane overrides any computer hang-ups. The King Air in real life and in simulation is a beautiful airplane and an absolute delight to fly - - ;D

Thanks for the video. I checked it out and VC looked great. I'll have to check out the website and see what the requirements are for it. (Though it is not a Pentium, my system gives me the same performance as a Pentium 4 running at 2.2ghz) I've been thinking about getting a new twin and debating in my mind over several models. This one is a serious contender.
Your real one is a very nice looking plane. The interior looks very comfortable. Looking at it really shows how realistic the simulated one looks. Thanks for sharing those pictures.

I'm very happy for your wife's family, that is awesome. Here are my system specs; AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1gb of DDR Ram ATI Radeon 9500pro with 128megs DDR Ram Soundblaster PCI plugin card Windows XP SP2 I should mention that the clockspeed of the Athlon XP series CPUs (mine is 1.7ghz) are misleading because they do more work per clock cycle than the Pentium 4 does. While from what I have read, some people put it in the same class as the 2.4ghz p4, but the benchmark tests I have reviewed seem closer to the 2.2ghz p4 IMO. There were no recomended specs on the detail page at F1. I'm thinking about getting the CD version, as the download is a bit large for my connection. I'll have to wait until after my bills are paid to see if I can grab it this month.

AMD Athlon XP 2000+ 1gb of DDR Ram ATI Radeon 9500pro with 128megs DDR Ram Soundblaster PCI plugin card Windows XP SP2 I think you might be on the lower side of the specs but if you use the analog version (no efis) and the VC model with no cabin you should be OK. I know that during beta testing some testers had systems equal to or even lower specs than yours and they were fine, but as always the more horsepower the faster the ride.
