I decided to take a little break from my bush flying in Alaska and do a little flying in Washington State. I used to fly there a lot back when Emma Field was new, but it's been a while since I have flown there. Some parts of it are really not that far off from flying in SE Alaska. I picked up the cargo at Twisp (2S0) which is deep in the mts. I was unhappy at pulling my plane into the snow to load, but I engaged the inertial separator and went very slow. After takeoff, I had to turn off course to have enough room to ascend high enough to cross the mts. You can see 2S0 above the plane. Crossing over Stehekin River. Having passed over the highest part of the mts, I'm not too far from Seattle. At the edge of the city, I notice a fog starting to form. Hopefully it won't get any worse, as I'm currently flying under vfr. (I know I should be using ifr for commercial flights, but I get tired of those zig zag approaches) A quick glance at the weather radar shows some mild activity, but nothing severe. Happily, the fog began to lift as I passed near downtown Seattle. Bremerton Intl. (KPWT), my destination, had given me rwy 1, so I had to circle around and make the approach, almost opposite of where I was coming from. There was a bit of a crosswind on landing. The cargo is delivered safe and sound, and I'm off to KPWT's cafe for a cup of cocoa.

Good Stuff I find myself tiring of winter and am now looking forward to spring... ;D I'm looking forward to spring in FS myself because I'm tired of winter textures (I usually fly in what ever season it really is), but can't say I'm looking forward to it in the real world because of how hot it gets where I live.

Where did you get the VC panel for the caravan? Or is this not the default caravan?

Where did you get the VC panel for the caravan? Or is this not the default caravan? This is Feelthere's Cessna Caravan and the panel is my own retrofit using Reality XP's Garmin 530 GPS and their WX500 Weather Radar. You can get the Deluxe Feelthere Caravan with a similar setup using Simflyer's Garmin 430 and 530 GPSes, but Simflyer's gpses really slow my system down, so I prefer Reality XP's. The standard version I bought comes with just the standard radio stack, which I removed and replaced with what you see above.
