Started off in Austria, and headed to the Czech Republic for a little hop! A cold day... A little too cold! I suddenly saw my airspeed needle drop to zero! Ice...had to be ice....since I didn't install a pitot heat into this kit, my only option was to try to find some warmer air... When I dropped to 3500' the needle jumped again... Such surprises I can live without! Descending towards Turany... On final...and working the plane down... The landing was a bit bounce...the RV-7 likes to go fast, and does not like to slow down! Taxiing to parking... I think I shrank the minute I opened the canopy...needless to say, I ran inside for a cup of something hot! Later, I saw that my oil was running low...so I topped it off...not the cheapest thing to do in this part of the world, but the first rule of Aviation: never ask how much something costs!

Yeah they sure do. There's a trick to it in the read-me file though. Basically you have to use one of FFS aircraft already.... just slap a different coat of paint on her. But yes... they do weather.

Your sure right there Kofi..... I still enjoy flying her and she's still ahead of many of the payware models with the automatic weathering and maint. programs. You can still purchase the RV for about $8.00 U.S. (Download verision) and I do believe you still get both models.. the 7 & the 7A. Anyway... I've always been fond of the RV... great little aircraft.
I might add.....their aircraft wasn't the only thing ahead of their time. I had a problem with my old video card showing glass as chrome. They actually had someone monitoring a "Chat" window that you could talk to directly. Had me fixed up in a matter of minutes. It was wonderful. (smile)

jordonj........... let me take a look and see if I still have them. I'm pretty sure the Red/White/Blue I still have........ just not sure on the other. I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address.... just let me know where to send the textures.
P.S. Be sure to put RV Repaint in the subject line so I don't delete the message by accident. (I get a TON of e-mails.)
Best wishes,
