Just wanted to post a few shots taken in development of volume 2 of the Adventure Scenery Pack Project. Volume 2 will have many more adventure flights and will crank up the effects, animation and scenery quality another notch. Look for the release by the end of this month.

Thanks Tom I am going to be working on some replacement ground textures soon that will hopefully get rid of the spots from tree shadows. I think if you keep the texture of the ground flowing (by adding different levels od texture and slight changes in color) you dont nee the spots to be as dark. If you notice in the first shot at the top, the ground under the runway is default (with spots) but the texture on the mountain side is my new custom texture. What do you think? Would that texture look good under the runway as well?

Being a big fan of Bill's work I lurk here quite a bit, but wanted to comment on this scenery.
Looks great Keith, love the first version and this one is looking really nice as well. I like the new texture and for the trees (and buildings) might I suggest adding shadows to the textures since this it part of what makes the georender and Flightscenery projects successful. Either way, looking forward to it!
BTW nice place you have here Tom! ;D

Michael, Thanks and yep, I have though of that. I think if the new textures work out well I will apply those to a large area around each airfield then replace the autogen trees with some new ones (with shadows) that an object designer is working on for me... photo real textures so it should prove to be a nice addition. I am also working on mesh for each area as well. Most changes should be ready for volume 2 but if not most definitely by volume 3.
