As one who is a fan of Trolleys, Trams as well as other small passenger trains like the S2000 and X3800 and a fan of vintage trains and routes, I was quite pleased to find a route of the 1922 Mesaba Electic Line by Dave Mewhinney. This was a Minnesota line that ran until 1928. I found the route to represent this period pretty well, except for a few modern buildings here and there that derive from the experience unless ignored. It also includes a very entertaining activity that works like a tour were you are given information concerning various places as you approach or pass them. Here are some pictures from a run I did today while enjoying the tour. Climbing a hill. This route was very enjoyable. Anyone interested in checking this route out can get it at Train_Sim. For the route itself, you need; Mesaba1.zip - Mesaba5.zip :the route Mesabaup.zip : route update mesaco10.zip : Matt Austin's Mesaba Electric #10 car The route includes a version of Austin's electric car, but it seems to be incomplete, so you need 'mesaco10.zip' to fix that. To install it, first install the route, then delete the folder, '10ME' from your Trainset folder. Now install the train from 'mesaco10.zip' and change it's folder name to '10ME' and you're ready to go. This route also requires "Xtracks' which you can also get at Train-Sim, but if you have any freeware routes installed, chances are you already have this.
