I recently came across this package of the Hor-Geo route in the Black Forest of Germany. Everything was packed together in one easy to install addon, the route, 4 activities and the needed trains. The route is very nicely done as well, so I thought I'd pass this on for anyone who enjoys European routes. The package can be found on Flight-Sim and is for MSTS. File name; horgelec.zip 44megs

Kevin.... that looks great. Between you and Bruce you're getting me all fixed up with enough train stuff to keep me entertained for months. (smile)
I'll have to put this in my "explore" file.
Cheers,

I've never been able to mentally get to grips with the "steering wheel" that is used in many (all?) Continental electric locos. Perhaps they use it because the earliest controllers operated a rheostat ....... like a volume dial on an old radio ........ and, therefore, it was like turning a rather large volume knob! Bruce

Bruce It is rather like turning a volume knob. May be this would be better suited to controlling those type of trains instead of the raiddriver ;D ; www.raildriver.com/assets/images/shipdriver/sd.large.main.jpg

Glad you found the site. Sorry about that, that was a typo. I had meant to put Train-Sim, as in www.train-sim.com.

No problem. One thing though. I am having trouble getting it to run. When you have a little time would you check in your MSTS files under--routes\HOR-GHEO-elec\envfiles\textures\ and see if you have both daysky.ace and starsky.ace? I have the daysky.ace but no starsky.ace. I have d/l twice and still no go. Thanks.

They're both in mine. Did you run the Installme.bat file in the route's folder? Also, if you are running under Windows XP, you may need to copy your Xcopy.exe file to the route's folder before running Installme.bat.
In XP, you can find Xcopy.exe in the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder.

Thanks for reminding me of the installme.bat file. No, I had not run it. After you mentioned it, I remember seeing something about running it during the install. Thanks again and it is doing fine now.
