Jim "Sniper" Ward has released a Rail Simulator version of his original MSTS classic, "Port Ogden & Northern". (You must have the US version of Rail Simulator.) It's available at www.train-sim.com. Bruce

Great news Bruce..... Many Thanks!!
I have exhaustively been using RS and have grown extremely fond of it. I did the Cajon pass route last evening hauling a long load of freight from Barstow... DOWN the Cajon pass into San Bernardino. Very enjoyable.
Cheers!!

Good-oh, Steve. Only three more days before the US version is available here, then I can compare the Cajon Pass routes. Bruce

Hi Bruce..... only got to try out the new route for about an hour this evening. Looks like there will be a lot to do. (smile)
Tonight I just went out exploring.... ended up picking up a load of empty coal cars... filling them and then dropping the coal at the nearest town. (smile) Yep.... spotted a lot more empty cars of various consists so I'll have to explore some tomorrow if I get a chance.
Many thanks!!
Cheers!!

Hi Bruce, Didn't get to explore too much just yet. I leave tomorrow for a week in Atlanta, GA. but thought I'd do a little rail exploring today. Here's a shot of the opening screen for scenario. Pulled out on to the turn table....... I LOVE the reflectiveness of the water. Off to a yard where I spotted some empty container cars earlier. Loaded up the empties with some containers..... I still need to find somewhere to dump them. The animations are wonderful..... it takes a little bit of up and back to get the correct spot, but I'm sure that will get better with practice.... ;D Got to call it quits for now as I need to start getting things together for tomorrows trip. I just hate it when real work gets in the way. Cheers!
