Richard really did a lovely job with this creation, generally looked upon as a Train Sim classic. Nice shots, Kevin. Bruce

Thanks. I can certainly see why this route is considered a MSTS classic. For me though, it's still a pretty new route as it hasn't been that long since I wasn't able to download files of this size. I'm amazed at the huge number of activities for this route. There seem to be plenty on both Avsim and Train-Sim. I sure don't have to worry about running out of things to do on this route any time soon.

I totally enjoyed this route when I had MSTS in working order on my old machine, but eventually MSTS took up 7-9gb of drive space. Geez, now that I think about it, it may have been more. Ohio Rail is really a classic, and you won't be left desiring more after a week, or so of operation.

I really like this route and have been thinking of getting about getting the author's payware update of it. Those routes can really pile up on your hard drive. MSTS is currently at about 7gigs on mine. ;D

I just got the update, Kevin, and what a difference! It is worth it, at least it was for me. Will try to remember to get some shots of it tomorrow. There are some screenies on his website. edmfamily.com/msts/index.htm.

I've downloaded some videos of it and it does look beautiful.

That does look very good and is noticeably improved over the freeware version.
