The chap who created the MILW route from Alberton to Avery added a nice touch. Not far from the town of Riverbend is an airstrip and not only did he include that item but he also included a couple of (static) airborne aircraft. One of them is shown just after take-off, as it crosses the railroad line, and here's a screenshot. I think it's a Cherokee. The location of the 'strip is accurate. If you have a look at the next shot, taken from Google Earth, you can see the path of the railroad bed - the tracks and catenary have long-gone. You can make out the little bridge dead in line with the runway. That's the bridge seen in the screenshot. The airstrip is owned by the KZ Mineral Company, according to the info-pin in Google Earth. Regards, Bruce

Very nice, Bruce! Now, that's what we really need in this sim-world - a combo - planes and trains!! Could you imagine setting up a train activity and then being able to jump in your favorite plane and chase it . . . then, with the touch of a key, switch back to the cab of your favorite train . . . and then back to the plane. Would that not be cool! Call it MSTP-AIO (All-In-One)! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

I noticed that airfield and planes. Though it was pretty neat to see in MSTS.
