I also like 1960s ambiance of the route. Many of my favorite automobiles are from the 60s so I enjoyed picking out ones I recognized from the road traffic. Ditto. Bruce

I've seen some Ford 60s pickups and even saw what might have been a 1962 Ford Galaxy car. I've also noticed Volkswagen Pickups on the road. Last time I saw one of those in the real world was back in the late 80's when I had a friend who had one that he was trying to get working. ;D I've been keeping an eye out for my favorite pickup truck, which is the 1966 Chevy. My father used to own the one with the large rear window and lights across the top of the cab. It was one of the vehicles I learned to drive in. Today I starteded my trip back the other way on the Feather River Route. I'm going to keep an eye out for a Dodge Charger (another favorite of mine from that period.) Here is a shot of going through the washers. I needed to clean the dust of the cars before heading back. ;D

The details really help make this route. Marc and his team have excelled themselves with the little things.

Very nice, Kevin! Amazing all the little stuff here and there - even the concrete has incredible detail to it - the washers is a nice touch, indeed. There's so much out there to get for trains! You are right about MSTS - the more I peruse all the MSTS sites the more I find - and most of today's stuff is very good and seems to be getting better and better. So much to get, so much to do and on top of it all, I haven't flown anything in almost a month now - and that is just plane sinful . . . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

......So much to get, so much to do and on top of it all, I haven't flown anything in almost a month now - and that is just plane sinful . . . . . .. Neither have I. But I've always been like that.......move around the circle, from one to another. I'll tire of one sim for a while, pick up from where I left off with another genre and so the circuit goes. Bruce

I tend to do that as well. Rotating the sims keeps them fresh. ;D
