Dan, By coincidence, I also did a search for his stuff and ended up downloading his hoppers. Yeah, it's time-consuming alright.....I spent an hour or so yesterday just changing the sounds of dozens of wagons from the default squeaks and clunks to the sounds used by Maple leaf Tracks for their rolling stock. It required editing many, many .WAG files! Bruce Bruce, you mentioned the above in the "NS Pocahontas District" thread about alternate sounds for cars/wagons. Are these the only other car sounds available out there? Or are there others with other payware routes? I haven't found any freeware sounds and I'm getting tired of hearing the same old sounds with every new train/consist I create. Of course, that all being said and your experience and good ear - they are probably the best available. So, why did I ask this question - I have no idea. I really should just buy a Maple Leaf route . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Dan, There is a freebie sound file called 'dzug.zip' which is a huge improvement over the default. If you don't buy a recent MLT package (Cascade or Shuswap, for example), these will do a far better job than the silence of the originals. Bruce

Got it, Bruce!
I'll check it out - anything will be better then the default!!
Eventually, I'll get the MLT Cascades, but for now this sounds great. ;D
Thanks!
Dan
