Something I'm finding very annoying in FSX and I don't seem to remember it happening as much in FS9. When flying IFR under ATC direction, it frequently happens that you are not being instructed to start descending when you should with the result that you end up in poor vis overflying your destination airfield at a height of 3000ft or so. The system seems to completely miscalculate. When you have flown a 'perfect' flight in real weather and are looking forward to an enjoyable IFR approach and landing, maybe with a backcourse approach as I just was at Lugano, it's very frustrating to have to declare a missed approach and go around. You don't always have the time and once again I've had to hit CTRL-C and come out without landing at my destination.
It's surely not much to ask that when a feature is supposed to be present that it works properly. And don't give me that stuff that the poor souls can't test every airport in the world. They've had years to get it right and this is constantly happening at major airports, not bush fields out in the backwoods.

I don't fly IFR as a rule so I'm no expert. The idea that comes to mind is altimeter adjustment for barometric pressure.
