Hey All, I'm new here. I recently downloaded the Classic Grumman Goose package by Lynn and Bill Lyons from Fltsim.com. I'm a member of BlueGrass Airlines, (virtual),and I'd like to make minor changes in the Avalon Air Transport model ie; texture.2 folder, g211.bmp file in th G21 Aircraft folder. Changes would be to remove the Avalon Air Transport name the number 5 on the front and the tail number and put the name BLUEGRASS AIRLINES in the same place as the old name and put the BlueGrass Wings on the nose and the BlueGrass Logo on he tail leaving the rest of the paint job as is since its the right color for BlueGrass Airlines as is. Can I get permission to make this available to any BlueGrass Airlines members who would like it. Thanks..... PS I can leave the Avalon Air Transport livery there and make a new livery for BlueGrass if thats an issue. Thanks again.

Hi there! there are no problems with freeware repaints. I've re-painted that plane myself and never had problems with the authors; as long as you give the proper credits for the original textures to Bill and Lynn Lyons in the Readme file, and keep everything free. And...if you only upload the textures and not the whole package (do not include the plane or part of it in your package). But, the G21 is not very painter-friendly, so Good Luck!

Lynn & Bill have given permission for non-commercial repaints of all their works EXCEPT the Graf Zeppelin so have fun. Damian is correct that ONLY the repaint may be distributed, not a package including the airplane.
