A BOAC DC-7C climbs to 21,000 feet out of Prestwick, just after midnight on its Wednesday flight to New York. I never realised before now that Flight Sim models the Aurora Borealis! You learn something new every day! Bruce

Absolutely beautiful screenshot, Bruce!!! It really captures the serenity of a night flight. You can almost hear the smooth hummmm of those engines, the cabin lights being turned down, the calming atmosphere of a long Atlantic flight . . . very nice! Almost looks 3D - incredible! Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D
