Hey guys. I just got my new PC in. I have a Core2 Duo 3.0, 4gb RAM and an Nvidia 9600GT 512 card. I have a fresh install (of course everything is fresh at this point) of both FS9 and FSX BUT I am not sure how to set up the nvidia 3D settings?? Can someone give me some help since I have been working on an ATI card for the past 4 or 5 years I am not sure what to place all the settings to. The PC is fast as all heck but my quality is a bit lacking with default driver settings. Thanks, Keith

Hi Keith- Good looking machine! Here's my nvidia settings. They might not be ideal for you but its a starting point. I have 2 monitors so if you are only running one, you'll need to adjust that setting.

Thanks Tom! Yep, that got me started. I learned a few things about the new Nvidia software. I LOVE the way it allows you to setup both a generic "global" setting and then an application setting and that it auto-senses the app (by the .exe you assign) and runs those settings just for that app. VERY NICE. I have a setting I will share with you guys later once I test it out really good first but it is set full throttle as is FS (I am working on FS9 now and will do FSX over the weekend) and FS9 is now running locked at 40fps and it never moves... ever. I love that. Everything is set to hi-quality and boy does it look nice. Detail like I have never seen in FS before. I will share some pics this weekend. I also got the Saitek system and so far it is very nice indeed.
