Hi, folks. I'm trying to decide whether to build a Stinson Junior or a stock version of the Ryan B-1 Brougham. The deciding factor will be background data: I have enough to start the Stinson now, but because of its greater historical impact, I would prefer to do the Ryan first. Unfortunately the only three-views I can find all show the Spirit of St. Louis. Does anyone out there have something related to the stock transport?
Thanks jim

Jim, I've been out and silent for a long time (I still try to stay tuned hoping to play once in a while) but Tom C. nudges me whenever he thinks I can help with projects -- like this one.
Let me look through my files and see if I can find a set of plans. I'm pretty sure I have them.

Jim,
In one of my books (Paul Matt Scale Airplane Drawings (Vol 2)) there is the Mahoney-Ryan B-5 Brougham.
It's not a B-1 Brougham..... not sure what the difference is. Regardless however, I just scanned the two pages of the B-5 Brougham and they are available if you want them. (Drawings are in a PDF file but can be printed out.)
Send me a PM with your e-mail address and they'll be on their way.
Cheers,

Jim, This will give you an idea of the info. I have for the B-5. I'll be leaving in the morning for a business trip, however, I'll have the files with me so I can e-mail if needed. Cheers,

If you can find them, I'd appreciate it, Bookman. In the meantime, Leyland Spurr has given me the B-5 plans and I'm setting up that now. It gives me something different to look at while building the metal fuselage for the Moth (which turns out to be a lot more work than I'd anticipated!).
