Hello All.
I'm new here, but not FS9 or forums. I am new to TOH. Soooooooo, would I gain anything from installing SilverWings to my GoldenWings install? I know SilverWings has excellent textures, and GoldenWings back-dates the world. Any thoughts? My FS9 install is at 30GB+ and I did not want a 3rd install. GWS9 does not have all of the AI and.... So it is still manageable.
Thanks.

No, you would not gain a thing. The Silver Wings textures are just a subset of the Golden Wings textures. Some urban textures may be a little different, I can't remember any more.
I should point out that Golden Wings is a full set of textures and adding any other textures can result in a mess.
Also I am moving this to the dedicated forum.

Yup, Golden Wings is a stand-alone that reverts FS2004 back to the Golden Era by removing modern aircraft, deleting airports, changing textures, styles etc and substituting AI. Silver Wings is an adapation of FS2004. It just changes the look of FS2004 to something that's 'warmer' and makes you feel good So they are not the same thing at all.
