Thanks!

I don't think the A26 was assigned to the PTO. when it came out the CG out there in PTO said no thanks we'll keep our A20's and B25's so they all went to the ETO.

Think that's the wrong a/c. that's the Martin B26 and Wind is looking for info on the Douglas A26 Invader.

Yes wrong aircraft, sorry. Slight confusion with the B26 and A26/B26 Invader.

Yes that's the point: I am not sure there were many and the info is very sparse. I shoukd have added "Invader" to the title of the thread to avoid confusion. I know of a skin ( a green one) based in the Philippines for Milton's A-26: but not too many others.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-26_Invader#Operational_serviceTry this link ... I also have 3.4GB of info and reference pictures, manuals, articles, Pilot Op amd Maintenance manuals. Tonight after work I'll see what I have, WWII only? Correct? EDIT: I sent you a link to download 2 publications. Both have sections on WWII variants of the A26 and where they served.

Thanks you Milton! most useful. I don't know why It didn't thought you had to be my main source on this plane.
Guys, upon his information it seems Invaders arrived during the early summer of 1945 assigned at the 5th AF, 3rd BG. Moved to Okinawa but even then the unit was not fully converted to the Invaders, keeping part of the A-20s. The other unit to fly the Invader was the 319th BG (ex Marauder Men), and a few ot them were around Nagasaki the day of the atomic bombing.
