Give me a yell when you do so because this time you'll have to visit Canberra. You better believe it..... It's at the top of the list for things to do. (smile) Have to see that Albatros and the museum! If I'm real lucky.... maybe I can meet up with you for a Bee Sting or VB or something. Cheers!

"I tried to add a second party route (Port Ogden & Northern) but it freezes the program while loading the scenario." FYI, there are several versions of Railsim PO&N here and there, but KRS threw us a surprise party by leaving out a bunch of content and trainsets when the US version came out. The original PO&N for KRS was created on the UK railsim version and is not compatible with the US railsim version. PO&N US 1 is at www.train-sim.com, that one IS compatible with the US version and is NOT compatible with the European version. Not what I came in here for tho, can anyone tell me where we can download the Polish Alco from?

Hmmm, nope. They got a link to www.railworld.pl/, but no new engines I can find, just repaints of the usual. Maybe I'm missing something, Babelfish for some reason don't have a Polish translator, so I'm guessing a lot. BTW, noticed they have two of my routes for download there, Metropolitan Suburban Transit System Route v3.1 and Port Ogden & Northern Route v7.0. Both of those are not compatible with the US only version, since both use York Newcastle track textures and other things the US version don't have (honest to god this was a complete surprise, RSDL still insists both versions of railsim are "compatible"). Any of you guys want to download the US versions from train-sim.com and upload them here or wherever feel free, just remember to include the disclaimer that those two require the US version of railsim so our European friends don't have the same trouble.

Sniper.... for what it's worth. I found several engines on the RS web-site, however, for the life of me I cannot seem to get them installed. In all honesty I haven't tried too much as I've been in and out of town lately.
If anyone knows the secret handshake to get these things running..... I'm all ears.
Cheers!!

Well, found something, screenshots in the official www.railsimulator.com forum, seems it's not actually ready for prime time yet. Sarge, which "engines" (repaints actually, AFAIK there aren't any new engines yet) are you having trouble installing? If the official ones, they should come with an installer, after that they should be available in the scenario editor list. forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic.php?f=217&t=74885Good picture tutorial there on how to add a downloaded engine as a free roam player service. The repaints I uploaded at www.train-sim.com recently use Mike Simpson's (MSTS Route Riter) newest installer, most people don't have any trouble with that either. If you're downloading something that don't have an installer, you need to do a search for "blueprints.pak" in the rail simulator folder and delete those, that forces the game to read thru all the subfolders to see what's new and remake the list of available trainsets. Don't look at me, I didn't program Rail Simulator! ;D
